Gordon Warren, Jr., age 87, passed away December 15, 2023, after a long illness. He was born in Chipley, Florida on January 12, 1936. Gordon spent his career as an engineer working for the Florida Department of Transportation for more than 30 years, and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer. He was proud of his work with the Recreations Department and Shivers Park because it was for children. Gordon’s love of fishing started at a young age and he won numerous bass tournaments.  Gordon also loved taking people fishing out of Mexico Beach targeting snapper and grouper.
