Files formatted and bundled for use in Eagle, Furuno, Garmin, Humminbird, Lowrance, Northstar, Raymarine, Raytheon, Simrad, and Standard Horizon GPS systems. Each file contains waypoint information (way point names, descriptions, latitudes and longitudes) for all reef locations listed at MBARA’s website under “All Reefs Sites” plus 13 bonus reefs off Panama City Beach at the time of production/version.
These files were produced to save GPS users time and effort of manually entering data into their GPS or GPS software. This purchase contains a bundle of files for the above listed GPS systems. The file you use will depend on which type GPS and software system you use and the method you use (data cards, cables, software) to transfer the data to your devices.
Proceeds from this purchase are used by the MBARA to build more artificial reefs.
Disclaimer: MBARA cannot guarantee accuracy of waypoint data contained in these files. However, MBARA constantly performs reef monitoring dives to verify locations of artificial reefs and produce the closest waypoint coordinates possible. Please also understand that some our smaller reefs can be very difficult to locate with GPS and depth sounders because they are small targets that are even challenging for highly experienced navigators to find.
