City of MB Projects on Schedule The City of Mexico Beach has almost finished rebuilding east and west jetty walls as you go out of canal. The 251 feet extension of pier is set to go-machines moving in. It will be closed during building. St. Joe Company and the City will have groundbreaking on two new ramps to be built over behind Marquardt's Marina off of new parking lot on November 17.

Feds plan on new regulations for oyster harvest
Grouper and snapper fishing may be totally shut down on east coast. The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council will meet in New Bern, NC, on November 3 to consider closing all grouper and snapper fishing from Cape Canaveral to Charleston, SC.
